The plaques & Stakes are produced from Iroko (Chlorophora excelsa) that is sourced from West Africa. This is a highly durable hardwood with an attractive grain that will withstand our weather all year round.

The timber remains in its natural form, however it can be treated with a teak colour micro-porous water repellent stain if required. The illustration shows an example of both.

Either machine carved inscriptions or plaques in lacquered brass or stainless steel will enhance our full range of plaques and stakes. See example here.

We are particularly careful to by our timber from countries belonging to the International Tropical Timber Organisations, all of which have accepted ITTO guidelines for the sustainable production of tropical timber.

By purchasing our products it ensures that the timber resource retains an economic value, thus providing an incentive to replant, manage and protect for the future.

Our range of timber plaques & stakes are available in two different sizes, however, they can be made to any specification or requirement. Ideal for memorial or commemorative purposes.

Our beautifully hand made plaques & stakes can also be supplied with lacquered brass or stainless steel engraved plaques. Inscriptions carved directly on to the plaque are also available.
