The Westminster, Tudor and Bramfield ranges of contract hardwood seating are produced from Iroko, (Cholorphora excelsa), which is sourced from West Africa. This is a highly durable hardwood with an attractive grain and will withstand British weather all year round. Iroko is sometimes referred to as ‘African Teak’.

The Bloomsbury range of contract hardwood seating is produced from Teak, harvested from sustainable plantations mainly from the island of Java in Indonesia. The plantations from which the Teak is purchased are nearly all owned and controlled by the Indonesian Government Department.

Our Policy
We are particularly careful to buy all of our hardwood timber from countries belonging to the International Tropical Timber Organisation, all of which have accepted the ITTO guidelines for the sustainable production of tropical timber.

By purchasing our products in this way, it ensures that the timber resource retains an economic value, thus providing an incentive to replant, manage and protect for the future.

Branson Leisure’s picnic suites and steel street furniture are 100% steel with welded joints and end caps.
